上野動物園に遠足に行ってきました！

朝9時に新越谷駅に集合！

少しドキドキしながらグループわけ。

Bekah先生が今日のスケジュールとルールを説明。

トイレに行って、パパとママに「行ってきます！」を言って出発！

We went to Ueno Zoo

We all gathered at Shin-Koshigaya Station at 9:00am

Once together we separated into groups.

Bekah explained the schedule for today along with the rules. 

After, we took all the children to the toilet. 

After we said good-bye to Mom and Dad and headed off to the zoo!

上野駅に到着！

最高のお天気！桜も咲き始めて上野公園は人でいっぱいでした。

きれいな桜のお花の前で記念撮影！

入り口には長い列。団体入り口から直ぐには入れてよかったね！

入り口で英語のパンフレットをもらってさあ動物園へ！

今日は英語で動物ビンゴをしました！

Once we reached Ueno station we were very excited to see the Cherry Blossoms beginning to bloom, and the weather was perfect for a photo, so that’s what we did. Once we took a photo, we noticed how long the waiting line was, but luckily we were able to go right in without any wait. Once we entered we gave out the Zoo`s pamphlet in English along with Prince made Bingo cards!

トラさんが大きな骨をなめているのを見たり、大きなゾウさんを見たり。

大きな鳥を見たり。

ゴリラ舎は今日はお休み。

みんなとてもかわいかったね。

First, we traveled through the bird area to see the large tiger licking a big bone. 

We then moved on and saw the big elephants as well. Sadly, the Gorillas were resting today so we decided to move past and see the big birds. All the kids reactions were adorable as they looked at each and every animal. 

そして楽しみにしていたランチタイム！

ママの作ってくれたお弁当は最高！

春のきらきらのお日様の下でお友達と先生と食べるお弁当は本当においしいね。

After it was lunch time for everyone! Everyone brought their delicious looking lunch boxes, and couldn`t help but be jealous of how well made they were. The lunch are was beautiful as the sky was clear, and the Cherry Blossom pedals were falling so gracefully. Along with eating with great friends and teachers, we couldn`t help but enjoy the moment. 

お昼の後、またたくさんの動物を見ました。

シロクマは本当に大きくて元気に歩きまわっていました。

ひぐまやマレーぐまさんは気持ちよくお昼寝をしていました。

サル山にはたくさんのおサルさんがいましいた。

温泉には入っているおサルさんもいました！

After lunch, we once again made our way to look at more animals. First we went and looked at the large white polar bear as he walked around so energetically. Next we visited the brown bear. The brown bear must`ve have been enjoying the day because he was napping so peacefully. After we went to look at the mountain monkeys, and wow there were so many! The monkeys were even enjoying the hot spring as well. 

不忍の池の前のベンチで少し休憩。

お菓子を食べて、また元気が復活！

フラミンゴ・ペンギン・ハシビロコウ・キリン・サイ・カバなどたくさんの動物を見ました。

Before the lake, we took a small break. As we rested, we took out the snacks we gave out during lunch, and ate them. Once we finished our snacks all our exhaustion left, and we became vibrant and started our walk again! We were able to see the flamingos, penguins, giraffes, and many more!

そして、上野動物園を言えばパンダ！

パンダ舎の外から本当にラッキーなことにパンダを見ることができました。

パンダって本当にかわいいですね！

But when we think of the zoo, what do we think of? That’s right! The panda! Although the line was extremely long, and couldn’t enter, we were able to see it from outside! What a lucky day because the pandas were so cute!

そして、最後はショッピング！

お小遣いで、かわいい動物グッツを買いました。

自分でお買い物をするって楽しいね！

After that it was time for shopping! The generous allowance they gave children, they were able to buy adorable goods from the gift shop! Also the kids enjoyed one of their first times shopping by themselves, they must of thought how cool it is to have the freedom to get their own gifts!

最後に記念写真を撮って、上野駅から新越谷駅に向けて帰途につきました！

Lastly, at the zoo we took a photo all together, and then headed home from Ueno station to Shin-Koshigaya station.

たくさん英語を使って、たくさんの動物を見て、とても楽しい遠足になりました。

We had a great trip conversing in English, seeing the all the animals!
