新丸子校スタッフの一押し映画を紹介！

映画の『ウォレスとグルミット』シリーズはイギリスではとても有名で、みんな二人が大好きです。私が小さいころ、The Wrong TrousersとA Close Shaveをずっと見ていました。映画と同じタイミングでセリフが言えるようになるくらい見ていました。

The Wrong TrousersとA Close Shaveはそれぞれほんの30分くらいの短い映画です。どちらもとてもとても面白く、たくさんのことが次々と起こります。この二つの映画を見ていて退屈することは絶対ないでしょう。あまりにたくさんのジョークがあるので、全て見尽くすには何回も見なくてはいけません！

悪のペンギン！犬のロボット！と、小さい子には少し怖いかもしれません…しかし、すぐにすべてが笑いになります。ウォレスとグルミットがとても勇敢で賢いので危険にさらされているとさえ思いません。二人がどうやって危険から逃がれるのかワクワクします。

The Wrong Trousersではウォレスがロボットのズボンを履いたまま博物館に行って眠ってしまうところや、おもちゃの列車を追いかけるところが一番の見どころです！A Close Shaveの一番良いところはグルミットの飛行機が空を飛び、ショーンと他の羊たちがバイクに乗っているバイクチェイスです！

これらの映画には話せることやアクションがたくさんあるので、彼らが何をしているかをたくさん説明することができます。talking（歩く）, running（走る）, sleeping（眠る）, eating（食べる）, flying（飛ぶ）, falling（落ちる）, cleaning（洗う）, hiding（隠れる）,making（作る）, riding（乗る）などの動詞を、映画を観ながら使ってあげるといいですね。

私と同じくらいこれらの映画を楽しんでいただけると嬉しいです！

Wallace and Gromit in “The Wrong Trousers” and “A Close Shave”

The Wallace and Gromit movies are very famous in the UK, and everybody loves these characters. When I was young, I used to watch The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave all the time! I watched them so much I could say the lines at the same time as the movie.

The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave are two short movies that are only 30 minutes long each. They are really funny – very, very, very, very, funny - and lots of things happen quickly. You’ll never be bored watching one of these movies. There are so many jokes you have to watch these movies many, many times to see them all!

Sometimes they are a little bit scary for younger children – the evil penguin! the robot dog! -, but then it really quickly becomes a funny joke. Wallace and Gromit are so brave and clever that you never feel that they are in real danger and are excited to see how they will escape.

In The Wrong Trousers, the best parts are when Wallace goes to the museum asleep in the robotic trousers, and the exciting toy train chase! In A Close Shave the best part is the motorcycle chase, with Gromit’s airplane flying in the sky and Shaun and the other sheep riding on the motorcycle!

These movies have lots to talk about, and there is lots of action where we can describe what they are doing many times. Some good words to use while we watch the movies are:

walking, running, sleeping, eating, flying, falling, cleaning, hiding, making, riding.

I hope you all enjoy these movies as much as I do!
