プリンス英米学院綱島校では、2/12(日)に『スピーキング・ライティング大特訓会』を実施しました‼

今回は新丸子校と合同で行い、多くの仲間と一緒に楽しく学ぶことが出来ました。

We held out annual "Speaking and Writing Special Training" on Sunday, February 12!!

This time, it was held jointly with Prince Shin-Maruko School, and the students were able to enjoy learning with new classmates and teachers.

オープニングセレモニー

まずはカードを使用しながらゲームして、自己紹介をしました。最高8個カードを集めた生徒がいました‼みんな仲良くなることが出来ました♪

We started the day with a rock-scissors-paper card game. One student collected 8 cards!! Most importantly, everyone was able to introduce themselves to each other in English using the following phrases:

"My name is ～. I like ～."

次に学習をする前にみんなで学ぶ目標を決めや学ぶにあたってのルールを参加者全員で決めました‼たくさんアイデアを出してくれました！

Before studying, the students decided together on their reasons for learning English, their goals for the day, and some basic rules for the day! Everyone contributed great ideas!

午前中は「プリンスオリジナルのテキスト」を使用して英単語対策‼

単語と熟語を単体で覚えるのではなく、実際に文章に単語や熟語を入れて使い方を覚えました。覚えたら先生にチェックしてもらい、合格をもらいます。

合格したらシールがもらえて、自分の名前が書かれている場所にシールを貼り集めていきます。みんなどれだけ覚えて読めたかを競い合っていました‼

In the morning, we used a special vocabulary booklet produced by Prince.

Instead of memorizing words and idioms individually, students learned how to use them by putting them into sentences. Once students practiced, they asked the teacher to check it their usage of the words.

If students passed, they received a sticker, and put it on the poster next to their name. Everyone was competing to see how many words they could remember and read! 

本日は晴天だったので、昼食の時間はみんなで外に行きました‼

みんなのお弁当おいしそう‼勉強した後なので、いつも以上においしかったです♪

 It was sunny today, so we all went outside for lunch!

Everyone's lunch looked delicious! After studying, it tasted even better than usual!

午後は「TAGAKI」のテキストを使用してライティング対策‼

例文を参考にしながら自分の意見を考え、書いていきました。書いたものを先生にチェックしてもらい、文章を読む練習をします。上位級の生徒は見ずに言えるように頑張りました‼

In the afternoon, we used the "TAGAKI" text to practice writing!

Students wrote sentences with their own ideas while referring to the example sentences. After the teachers checked what they wrote, the students practiced reading the sentences. Everyone tried hard to memorize the sentences!

最後はみんなの前でスピーチ‼

スピーチをする前はみんな緊張気味でしたが、上手に発表できました‼

At the end of the day, it was time to make a speech in front of everyone.

Everyone was a little nervous before giving their speech, but they did really well!

来月は先生たちとボーリングへ行きます‼
