It’s been a busy month for Prince Shin-Maruko School! Last week all of our students started to prepare for tests and presentations. It’s been a great year of learning and everyone has gotten a lot of work done. Let’s look at some of the recent achievements from our amazing students!

Achievement Unlocked!

Last April we gave our students a 36 step Memory Challenge! It was a lot of fun and quite an impressive bit of work too. So far, over 25 students have completed the challenge. Wonderful work!

Next semester we`ll be able to do even more!

We have also spent the last week doing our final tests for the year. So many of our students got perfect scores for every test this year! WOW! This last test we had the most students EVER get a perfect score! Almost everybody got better scores than the last test! Fantastic work everybody.

One of our students, R-chan, wrote an essay for her school recently that was published in a book! It was so amazing!

In the essay R-chan talked about how important English was to her, and how it became her strength. She said at first, she wanted to come to Prince because Purikuma was so cute. When she first came to Shin Maruko School, of course she was nervous. But!, she said that once the lesson started it was like a whole new wonderful world for her. From that moment on R-chan studied so hard and had a lot of fun. Even in kindergarten she wanted to try and take English tests. She was so happy when she passed, and said it was a wonderful feeling. Even though English was her strong point, she said as she got older the tests kept getting more and more difficult. R-chan never gave up in class and tried really hard, enjoying every lesson. She says she has wonderful support at home and her Mum always encourages her and helps to motivate her. These are the reasons why she will never give up. R-chan said that more than anything else, she loves English the best! Incredible!

I am so happy we have a chance to help you pass your tests and have that wonderful feeling. More importantly I am so glad we can help you with the thing you love the most.

We are all very proud of you R-chan!! Congratulations!

Coming Soon!

Our first day of Spring Princeland 2025 has been announced and it’s a tasty one! We`ll be making burgers, Prince Style! While learning how to cook, we`ll be practicing our English and competing in delicious games too! On day 2, we`ll be planting and finding spaceship parts around the school! On our final day, we will learn survival skills, like building a shelter!

For students who are craving more of an academic challenge (and more fun too), Spring School is the way to go. Starting with reading, speaking and writing class and ending with games and Princeland. Spring School is a fantastic way for students to gain both confidence and proficiency quickly while also having a lot of fun with English teachers all day long.
