Hello, everyone！It’s almost the end of the year now! Everyone did a really good job this year at Prince studying hard and having fun practicing English. Thank you so much! To finish the year we had our Winter School and Princeland events. The students who joined this year’s Princeland enjoyed two days of special games, activities, and crafts.     On the first day, we had the Printendo event. Of course, this name is a wordplay of ‘Nintendo’ and ‘Prince.’ That’s right, we had a day full of Nintendo-inspired activities! First, we played two ‘Animal Crossing’ themed games. We went fishing…but for stars, not for fish! Each sized star was worth a different number of points! Then, we played a butterfly catching game. Next, we had craft time! We made one Pikachu and one Kirby craft. We lined up different colored beads on a template and then used a hot iron to melt the beads together and voila! Our new character crafts were finished! We also enjoyed a ‘Splatoon’-inspired game, made a balloon with Pikachu’s face on it to toss around, and lastly we made a keychain with our own designs on one side and a polaroid picture on the other side! Phew! What a fun and full day! Which Nintendo character or game is your favorite?On the second day we had a cooking-themed event called ‘Cozy Kitchen.’ We started by playing a game in which you should try to be high speed! We had to toss ‘meatballs’ around the school and pick them up quickly before the timer rang! The student who had the most meatballs at the end of each round was the winner! Next, we enjoyed some yummy and sweet treats! We used a Neru Neru candy kit to make a grape-flavored sweet treat, it was so colorful and tasty! Then, we needed to burn off some sugar so we played a game in which each student had to find some toy fruits & vegetables that some toy hamster ‘stole’ and put them in the sunflower patch so they can eat their favorite food! After that was the biggest event of the day, baking a cake! We mixed together pancake mix, hot cocoa mix, milk, and a little bit of oil to make little cakes that we could bake quickly in the microwave. They turned out nice and plump, and very delicious! The students enjoyed decorating their cakes, and they like eating them even more! What’s your favorite cake flavor?
